OpenUSD (Universal Scene Description) is an open framework for describing and exchanging 3D data. Originally developed by Pixar, it has become a standard across visual effects (VFX), games, and emerging metaverse workflows. It also serves as the foundation of NVIDIA Omniverse™ for generative physical AI.
We are excited to announce that you can now use our industry-leading VitalFit soft avatars with compatible USD garment files. OpenUSD supports including additional data such as fabric materials.
In addition to the seamless integration provided by our Browzwear VStitcher plugin, you can now upload USD files exported from other software such as CLO3D — and gain deeper insights through VitalFit’s advanced soft body tests.
